This is Part 1 of a three-part series.
Part 1 (Oct 21st): Equine Dental Radiography Techniques: Extraoral and Intraoral Views
This session will review techniques to be successful in equine dental radiographs including extraoral and intraoral techniques. Case examples of views will be included.
Part 2 (Nov 18th): Combining Equine Dental Radiography with Oral Exam Findings
This session will review pathology on equine dental radiographs and go over case examples of how dental radiographs complement the oral exam and guide treatment planning.
Part 3 (Dec 16th): Large Animal Dental Radiography Techniques and Cases
This session will review techniques for other farm animal dental radiograph techniques (small ruminant, porcine), and case examples of pathology will be included and discussed.

Dr. Alexandra Wright is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dentistry and Oral Surgery at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in Ithaca, NY. She completed an Equine and Small Animal Dual Track Residency at Cornell. Prior to her residency, she completed an equine internship at Rhinebeck Equine, LLP in Rhinebeck, NY and spent another year working for Dr. Robert Baratt at his practice in Connecticut. She enjoys the comparative nature of veterinary dentistry, and studying tooth resorption in multiple species is a particular interest of hers.
