Event Details

Are you an experienced practitioner concerned with providing accessible veterinary care in your community? Are you training new graduates, or mentoring early career vets who struggle with implementing a spectrum of treatment options?

Join us for an interactive Cross Talk on the Intersection of Training New Graduates and Increasing Access to Care — we hope to explore how the profession can more effectively onboard early career veterinarians to have the confidence and skills to provide treatment options which align with the financial needs of families.

\What you’ll get

  • Real-world insight: Moderated panel discussion with veterinarians working in private practice, academia, and non-profit organizations who discuss their experiences and perspectives on the biggest challenges and opportunities the profession faces in training the next generation to provide accessible veterinary care
  • Actionable ideas: Concrete ways to contribute to the growth and future of the profession
  • Engaging discussion: Small-group discussion to swap tips, resources, and “what works.”

Who should attend

  • Any veterinarian curious about providing high-quality and financially feasible care
  • Any veterinarian who has experience training other veterinarians - or is interested in getting started mentoring and training others
  • Veterinarians who have trained other vets, and who are providing high-quality accessible veterinary care, and want to learn, share, and connect with others
