Explores how the state and AAHA defines a CrVT's role, and how utilizing their skills can improve overall morale in the entire practice, along with increasing revenue and retention. Touches on the topic of a mid-level veterinary professional.

Dr. Wendy has lived in the North Country for the last 5 years. After graduation from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, she owned and practiced in a busy companion animal hospital in Ohio for 8 years before moving to New York state. In 2020, she settled in as an associate professor for SUNY Canton's Veterinary Science Technology program, and moved into the role of Program Director in 2021. Dr. Wendy lives in Tupper Lake with her two small dogs, Henry and Edward. All three enjoy hiking, camping, and canoeing in their beloved Adirondacks.
