1995 graduate from University of Pennsylvania. Solo practitioner in Lancaster County among organic dairy farmers (1995–2015), developing non-antibiotic and non-hormonal treatments for livestock. USDA National Organic Standards Board member (5 years), Charter Fellow of the American College of Veterinary Botanical Medicine. Published 3 books on natural treatments; co-author on scientific articles. Currently operates Reverence Farms, a 400-acre pasture-based dairy farm near Chapel Hill, NC.
