Chiropractic Medicine is important because it contains ALL the science behind the care and feeding of your nervous system. In this lecture I will teach you how to easily evaluate the health of the patient's nervous system ( and that of the owner ) and why this is important to your healing goals. We will discuss the power we have to hack into the autonomic nervous system and how that can positively impact both the musculoskeletal and digestive systems. You will recognize the consequences of remaining in dysfunction and how to use the nervous system to stop the spiral of chronic disease . I will finish with easy exercises to help you collect data about your patients and show you simple ways to level up the outcome of every day interventions.
Learning Objectives:
1. To understand why the nervous system, like all the others, needs routine care.
2. To learn what a dysregulated, poorly functioning system looks like in your everyday patient.
3. How to easily address nervous system problems for better patient outcomes.
For More Information:
Dr. Bellini is a veterinarian with over 30 years of experience in equine sports medicine, working extensively in both racetrack and referral practice. What began as a drive to help horses heal and perform at their best has evolved into a deeply integrative approach that blends conventional veterinary care with chiropractic, acupuncture, postural rehab, and more.
She’s a graduate of McGill University and Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, and holds certifications in veterinary acupuncture, chiropractic, and advanced modalities like Balance Method acupuncture and applied kinesiology. Through her practice, Heart Equine, Dr. Bellini has worked with thousands of horses and spent years refining techniques that help practitioners move beyond managing dysfunction — to actually resolving it.
Today, she’ll be sharing insights from that journey as she introduces us to the foundational principles and practical applications of veterinary chiropractic.
