Donna Raditic, DVM, DACVIM (Nutrition), CVA
Donna M. Raditic is a Board Certified Veterinary Nutritionist®. She was a professor for both the Nutrition and the Integrative Medicine Services at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. Currently she is owner/founder of Nutrition and Integrative Medicine Consultants which offers independent consulting and education. Dr. Raditic’s professional journey provides for unique perspectives on the role of nutrition, supplements, and integrative care for our veterinary patients.
Steve Marsden, DVM, ND, MSOM, GDVA, GDVCHM, Dipl.AC, Dipl.CH, AHGDr
Dr. Steve Marsden, DVM, ND, MSOM, Lac. Dipl.CH, CVA, AHG lectures for IVAS, the AHVMA, the AVMA, and numerous other veterinary colleges and associations. He is co-founder of the College of Integrative Veterinary Therapies (CIVT) and is a director emeritus of the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland OR. He is a contributing author to numerous textbooks and is author of Manual of Natural Veterinary Medicine (Mosby, with Dr. Susan Wynn) and Essential Guide to Chinese Herbal Formulas (published by CIVT). In 2010, Dr. Marsden was named Teacher of the Year by the AHVMA; and in 2009, the Small Animal Veterinarian of the year by the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association. He currently divides his time between the Rockies of southern Alberta and the coast of San Diego, California.
Barbara Fougere, BSc BVMS (Hons), BHSc (Comp med), MODT, MHSc (Herb Med), Grad Dip VA, Grad Dip VCHM, Grad Dip VWHM
Dr. Barbara Fougere is a 1986 graduate from Murdoch University Veterinary School Western Australia. She practices in Sydney Australia, exclusively in veterinary integrative medicine. She has served on the Australian Veterinary Association Policy Council, Therapeutic Advisory Committee, Feline Health Research Fund and has held positions as President of the Australian Veterinary Acupuncture, President of the Veterinary Botanical Medicine Association, House of Delegates IVAS and President for IVAS, Chair for the American Veterinary Botanical Medicine Association and committee member and is one of the first veterinarians to be certified in Veterinary Botanical Medicine worldwide. She holds a Masters degree in herbal medicine and a bachelors degree in Complementary Medicine as well as a Masters in the field of education and training.
She is a member of the National Herbalists Association of Australia, Australian College of Nutrition and Environmental Medicine, AVA, AHVMA, VBMA, ACVBM and IVAS . She is also holds qualifications in veterinary acupuncture, spinal integration, homeopathy and other therapies and has authored Healthy Dogs a Manual of Natural Therapies (2003), The Pet Lovers Guide to Natural healing for Cats and Dogs (2006) and co-authored two veterinary texts Veterinary Herbal Medicine (2007) and Integrating Complementary Medicine into Veterinary Practice (2008). She was awarded the AHVMA Practitioner of the Year in 2010 and Educator of the Year in 2011 and was a Petplan finalist vet of the year 2017 and finalist Practice of the year 2017.
Rona Sherebrin, DVM, CVA, FACVBM
Dr. Rona Sherebrin, Owner and Founder of TIAH has been a veterinarian for over 30 years, and practicing Integrative Medicine for over 20 years. She has been a certified veterinary acupuncturist since 2005, Regenerative Medicine (Vet-Stem) practitioner since 2008, and practices both Eastern and Western Veterinary Herbal Medicine, Tui-Na Medical Massage, Holistic Nutrition, Holistic Oncology, Orthomolecular Medicine, and Integrative Parasite Prevention.
Dr. Sherebrin lectures to veterinarians, herbalists, and the public on Integrative Medicine and herbal therapy. She is currently active on the executive boards of the Association of Veterinary Acupuncturists of Canada, the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society, and the American College of Veterinary Botanical Medicine. She is a member of the editorial committee of the Journal of the American Holistic Veterinary Medicine Association (Botanical Medicine editor). She recently became a Fellow of the American College of Veterinary Botanical Medicine (FACVBM).
When not in the clinic, you can find her walking her yellow lab through the woods, backcountry canoe camping, and hiking up mountains, preferably next to oceans, in places with delicious food nearby.
Jody Bearman, DVM

Dr. Jody Bearman, DVM, CVH, CVA, CVCH, CVSMT graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a BS in Bacteriology and from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine with a DVM in 1992. She worked in small town mixed practice (horses, farm animals, small animals) then small animal and exotic practice using Western medicine for 16 years.
Wanting to help animals that couldn’t be diagnosed or treated with Western medicine and those that developed severe side effects from Western medicine, she took the Chi Institute for Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine mixed animal course and became a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist in 2005. Dr. Jody was an instructor at the Chi Institute, the first of it’s kind outside of China. She is a certified Veterinary Chinese Herbalist and practices tui-na (Chinese massage and physical therapy) and food therapy. She took courses in Advanced Applied Kinesiology (advanced manipulation, testing and treatment techniques) and became certified in Veterinary Spinal Manipulation Therapy at The Healing Oasis Wellness Center, and is a member of the College of Animal Chiropractors.
Dr. Jody is a graduate of the Pitcairn Institute for Veterinary Homeopathy and is a certified Veterinary Homeopath. She is a diplomate of classical homeopathy and certified classical homeopath, and has spoken at the Joint American Homeopathic Conference for the last 3 years. She has published homeopathic and educational cases on Chinese medicine in the Integrative Veterinary Care Journal, and homeopathic cases in the Academy of Veterinary Homeopathy Journal. She is a graduate of the 4 year Northwestern Academy of Homeopathy.
She is excited every day to help animals heal and stay healthy. She works with many animals including horses, dogs, cats, goats, birds, sheep, cows, rodents, reptiles, rabbits and more. Dr. Bearman and her family share their lives with dog Linus, cats Jimmie and Theo, and horse Buddy.
obert Silver, DVM, MS, CVA
Dr. Robert Silver is a 1982 graduate of Colorado State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. He received his Master’s Degree in cardiopulmonary physiology in 1976, and his Bachelor’s degree with honors in Animal Science in 1974, also from CSU.
Dr. Silver is currently adjunct faculty at both the Chi University and at Lincoln Memorial University’s College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Silver established one of the first integrative veterinary hospitals in the US in Boulder, Colorado in 1993 until he sold the practice in 2010 to focus his time and energy on post-graduate education, health coaching, and veterinary product development.
Dr. Silver also runs The Well-Pet Dispensary, and a blog site that he shares with an integrative equine vet and a boarded veterinary rehabilitator at Nurse Your Pet.
Considered one of few true experts in veterinary cannabis, Dr. Silver has authored the popular book: “Medical Marijuana and Your Pet”. His second book, “There’s a Mushroom for That” is recently published. It provides an integrative health guide for veterinary conditions that are responsive to mushrooms, cannabis and integrative medicine.
Additionally, Dr. Silver has contributed 4 textbook chapters in two Springer publications on veterinary cannabis therapeutics in the past few years. He has also written a peer-reviewed article titled: “The Endocannabinoid System of Animals”.
Dr. Silver has been providing post-graduate, continuing education classes to veterinarians, both domestically and internationally, for the past 25 years. He speaks frequently and widely at veterinary conferences and webinars as well as to the pet-owning public. His area of expertise is the integration of alternative and novel therapies with conventional veterinary therapeutics, especially as concerns medical cannabis and the medical use of herbs and nutraceuticals.
Dr. Silver is a Charter Fellow and currently past-president of the American College of Veterinary Botanical Medicine and Past-President of the Veterinary Botanical Medical Association. He has served on the Board of Directors of the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association and with the Hemp Feed Coalition. Dr. Silver is a founding member of the Veterinary Cannabis Society and a member of the Cannabis Clinicians Society. He is also a member of the Colorado Mycological Society as well as the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Silver served as Chief Medical Officer of RxVitamins for the past 25 years until the company was sold in 2021. He also had served as Chief Veterinary Officer for Folium Biosciences, one of the largest vertically-integrated hemp companies in the United States, from 2014-2020.
Dr. Silver serves as Real Mushrooms' Chief Veterinary Officer and brings to the Real Mushrooms Science Team 40 years of practical clinical experience treating small and large animals with diet, acupuncture, nutraceuticals, botanicals and medicinal mushrooms as well as over 25 years of experience developing nutraceuticals for pets.
Nell Ostermeier, DVM, CVA, FAAVA
Dr. Nell received her Doctorate from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2004 and has been practicing veterinary acupuncture and integrative medicine since 2010. A Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA), she has grown into a respected leader in the field of integrative therapies.
Today, her primary focus is educating veterinarians in acupuncture and integrative medicine. She serves as faculty for the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS) and lectures at conferences across the United States and internationally. In 2019, she earned FAAVA status—an advanced credential comparable to board certification in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine.
Nell is also the creator of two signature online education programs: the Every Day Acupuncture Veterinary Mastermind Series and the Advanced Acupuncture Mastermind Series. These programs are designed to help veterinarians build confidence, clinical clarity, and real-world integration skills through structured mentorship, case-based learning, and practical strategies.
She is the founder of the Every Day Acupuncture Veterinary Community, the most engaged online group of acupuncture veterinarians in the world. This global community connects colleagues across continents who discuss cases, share ideas, ask questions, and support each other daily. It has become a hub for collaborative learning, professional growth, and encouragement for veterinarians at every stage of their integrative journey.
Drawing on her experience in multiple facets of veterinary practice—including practice ownership and leadership—Nell coaches veterinarians on integrating acupuncture and complementary therapies into everyday clinical work using sustainable, efficient frameworks. Her teaching emphasizes not only clinical mastery but also the importance of balance, wellbeing, and creating a career that feels both meaningful and sustainable.
